She spent two years in Eastern Washington where she worked at KNDU in Tri-Cities. While in Tri-Cities, Kaitlyn covered all things weather, from wildfires to hard-hitting snowstorms.

During her time in Washington, she explored everything the Pacific Northwest had to offer, from the ‘breath-of-fresh-air’ mountains to the evergreen trees. Though, it didn’t take her long to realize she was meant to be in Texas.

She’s a Houston native and a University of Texas graduate, Hook Em Horns! Kaitlyn earned her degree in journalism from UT with a minor in business.
